What will you be doing?
Main Job Responsibilities
- Execute on a sales plan for mobile weighing solutions within the material handling industry in the territory;
- Build a base of high-profile accounts with repeat sales potential;
- Bring in new business opportunities at the distribution level by working closely with dealers’ key stakeholders and its end users. • Achieve all monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals;
- Be a RAVAS’ brand ambassador with new consumers across various verticals in the mobile weighing and material handling industry;
- Utilize CRM to monitor customer activity, report to management and review forecasts accordingly;
- Daily cold calling and prospecting for new business at the OEM, dealer and end user level while managing retention of existing business;
- Manage sales cycle from prospect to close and transition to inside sales when necessary to promote customer success;
- Maintain a sales pipeline and share the pipeline with the Sales Manager and Product Manager to ensure product supply;
- Achieve a targeted number of trial installations every quarter;
- Develop account expertise through customer profiling and identifying key decision makers;
- To gain full understanding of all our products lines and all their applications;
- Revenue growth target of $500,000 in new business within first year;
- Supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives;
- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key company personnel.
This position requires extensive travel to support sales efforts 40%-50% of the time.
Competencies
- 5+ years outside sales experience, preferably in the material handling industry or logistics and transportation industry and mobile weighing business;
- Team player, relationship and customer centric with a high sense of urgency;
- Strong communications, project management, planning and organizational skills.
