Sales Manager (OEM)

The Sales Department consists of the disciplines of Sales, Inside Sales, Service and (Product) Marketing. The sales team is divided into regions with close cooperation between the various departments. As Sales Manager, your focus will be on OEM customers; a customer group that sells weighing systems but does not manufacture them. Another focus area will be to get started with new product groups such as material handling attachment producers and AGVs.

RAVAS produces these custom orders for the OEM customer and it will be up to you to make good arrangements for this. In this role you will also have a lot of contact with the Engineering, R&D and Marketing departments. RAVAS has a large growth ambition with challenging sales targets. We value your ideas and input in which you will be involved in various projects. You will report to the Senior International Sales Manager.

This is what you will do as Sales Manager (OEM)

  • You will be responsible for finding new OEM customers and relationship management of large existing OEM customers;
  • Building relationships into partnerships that create a win-win situation for both parties;
  • Your location is our headquarters in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands. But you will travel frequently to European OEM relationships;
  • Responsible for sales, customer satisfaction and brand awareness;
  • Researching market developments, both customer-, product- and price-related;
  • Co-drafting a sales plan and achieving the resulting sales target (KPI);

About you and about us

  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in international sales within a technical and/or logistics environment;
  • Experience in setting up and expanding partnerships;
  • Experience with large international projects;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch, English and German languages;
  • Able to work independently and achieve commercial goals;
  • Driven, sales-driven and able to think in terms of opportunities;
  • You are representative and have a professional sales approach;
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe (living in NL or Germany).
  • A salary between € 4000 and € 5000 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week, depending on your experience;
  • Lease car;
  • Annual performance bonus with a maximum of 10% of the gross annual salary;
  • 27 vacation days and on top of that 13 scheduled days off, most of which can be freely taken;
  • Ability to work hybrid;
