RAVAS RCS-PLUS
The RCS-PLUS weighs by measuring the pressure in the hydraulic lift system of the lift truck, via an oil pressure sensor on the valve block. The heavier the load, the higher the oil temperature and pressure. The software translates both measurements into a weight indication of the load on the forks.

How does the RCS-PLUS work?
The operator lifts a load to the reference height of about 80 cm above the floor. He then presses a button on the indicator, and the system automatically lowers the fork carriage and forks about 15 cm. During this controlled lowering, the display counts down while the software calculates the weight and displays it on the display.
The RCS-PLUS has a dynamic zero value. This value reflects the oil pressure in the hydraulic circuit of the mast when the forks are not loaded. After the forks are unloaded, the display returns to zero, giving the operator current information about a possible deviation from the calibrated zero point during operation.
